Once upon a time, in a small town of Barotac Viejo, there lived a happy couple who thought the world could not get any better.
One day, the wife cooked an extra-ordinary recipe made from dried-herring (local name: tabagak) together with spices and love. When Don Agudo got to taste the special recipe, his smile grew bigger, eyes wider and stomach….. .. never mind, it’s always been big.
Since then, the recipe was coined with his name until we got to share it with friends and they loved it too.
Don Agudo Gourmet Tuyo has many versions and ours is quite special because we believe it is.
